Apprentice / Journey person electrician

We are currently hiring for 2nd year apprentice to Journey person Electricians in Victoria, BC. Compensation for this role ranges from $22.50/hour to $42/hour, health and dental benefits after three months.

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
• Drilling and cable-pulling
• Punctual and reliable presence on worksites
• Follow safety programs and policies, wear appropriate PPE, and attend safety training as required
• Present a positive, can-do attitude in the workplace and with our clients
• Cutting in and splicing switches/receptacles/lights
• Use of standard construction power tools

Qualifications:

• Must be able to be registered as an apprentice through Skilled Trades BC
• Electrical field experience is required
• Commercial/residential construction experience an asset
• Basic hand tools and cordless power tools
• Vehicle/ transportation
• Adequate knowledge of the CEC
